Yesterday I started a post about body issues and sexiness. I got halfway through it and the rest of the day took over, preventing me from finishing it. This is pretty much how my whole week played out.

I went back to the post after having a lengthy discussion with the Captain about what it means to be "sexy." Then he took the time to explain the differences between "sexy," "hot," "dirty," and "pretty." I finished the night no more enlightened, and frankly a little annoyed because I didn't have one personal fun moment in the day. And I don't ask for much, people, just a little time to write or surf the Internet and connect with all of you. I didn't even get to sit and fall asleep during an hour of television.

My dh is incensed that former Raider/Buccanneer Warren Sapp has declared bankrupty after accruing an estimated 60M from the NFL.

He ranted and raved (waking the sick baby two times, thank ya very much) about how can you be so stupid how can you waste THAT MUCH MONEY? And he thought it was "only" 40 million.

He played with his cell phone calculator and estimated that the man make 38K a week playing ball.

Despite having been informed yesterday that the problem at the Savvy Authors site had been dealt with, I got another email this morning that told me that now they think there is still an issue.


Please do not go through to the site. I apologize profusely for the inconvenience this is causing, and I assure you that one way or the other, we will find a way to finish the class. I am as frustrated as I'm sure many of you are (and no doubt the Savvy Authors folks are, too.) but hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Sitting in the lobby of the Comfort Suites, having had a deliciously deadening night of sleep. Man, I was tired. Now I’m all duded up, ready to enlighten the masses and pass on The Secret Handshake … nah. I’m ready to talk to to friends who love the same things I do, to help them if I can.
